Lead Practice Nurse

Salary: depending on experience

Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week

Location: Cirencester and Tetbury

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our established and busy practice for a Lead Practice Nurse. Phoenix Health Group is a large, busy and expanding Practice of 12 GP Partners that has a reputation for providing excellent care to its 24,500 patients.

The Practice has a highly committed and friendly team of GP Partners, salaried GPs, Allied Health Professionals including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Urgent Care Practitioners a Clinical Pharmacist, a multi-skilled Practice Nursing team and our management and administrative teams.

Located over five sites in a semi-rural location, including Dispensaries at Tetbury and Kemble and a surgery at the Royal Agricultural University, we are an innovative practice with an ‘excellent CQC rating’ for our older and younger persons patient care.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-graduate diploma or degree (Chronic Disease Management) or experience of chronic disease management
  • Experience of leading a nursing team in a primary care environment
  • Experience of working as a practice nurse or community nurse
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management (planning and organising)
