Issues with online patient information in the NHS App

Phoenix Cirencester recently changed its clinical system to TPP SystmOne (6 June 2025).

We subsequently became aware that patients were experiencing issues in accessing their online information via the NHS App.

Unfortunately, the links for the new system failed to transfer to the NHS App, which meant that many patients had to reset their user login details. This issue has now been rectified by NHS England and we apologise for any inconvenience this caused.

Another issue is that some information from patients’ GP records is not viewable in the NHS App, including test result values and documents that were available before the system change.

We would like to reassure you that the information is not missing from your GP record and that it has transferred to SystmOne – the information is just currently not viewable in the NHS App.

We have raised this with TPP and the NHS App team who are investigating this issue on our behalf.

Data that has been entered after the system change took place (6/6/25) is available to view in the NHS App.

If you are experiencing any difficulties in using the NHS App, please contact us via the online form on the Practice website and complete the Ask Reception a Question form: https://phoenixhealthgroup.co.uk/services/managing-your-health-online/online-forms/ask-reception-a-question/

Changes to Online Repeat Medication

Changes have been made to the way repeat medication can be viewed in the NHS App. You can view your medication from the GP Health Record option and manage your prescriptions from the View and Mange Prescriptions option. When you click on the View and Manage Prescriptions option, you will see the following choices:

  • Requested medicines – this will show you which medications have been approved or are pending approval
  • Approved prescriptions – this will show medications that have been approved and past medications
  • Request repeat prescriptions – this will provide you with a list of medications that you can request

Please note: the medications will not be available to order if they have been ordered in the last 14 days or if a medication review is due.

Patient Access Accounts

Patient Access is an online service provided by Emis and this is no longer available since our switch to SystmOne. To continue to access online services you will need to sign up to the NHS App.

If you have an Apple device or Smartphone, you can download the NHS App. You will need new registration details, so please ensure the practice has your up-to-date mobile number and email address.

If you are a new user, please create an NHS Login https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/nhs-login/ or complete the online registration form and provide photo ID as well as proof of your address.

If you cannot register online, please come to the Practice after 9.30am with your identification and we will help you sign up. Alternatively, please complete the Access to GP online services form on the Practice website.

More information on the NHS App can be found here: NHS App and your NHS account – NHS and there is an option to leave user feedback should you wish to do so.

Thank you for your patience and support.
