- Salary: £16.50 to £17.62 per hour, depending on experience (includes practice annual salary review for April 2025)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our established and busy practice for a qualified Dispensary Manager to join our dispensing team. Phoenix Health Group is a large, busy and expanding dispensing Practice of 12 GP Partners that has a reputation for providing excellent care to its 24,500 patients.
Located over five sites in a semi-rural location, including Dispensaries at Tetbury and Kemble and a surgery at the Royal Agricultural University, we are an innovative practice with an ‘excellent CQC rating’ for our older and younger persons’ patient care.
Your key responsibilities are to manage the dispensing operation through the Phoenix Heath Group. This will include endorsing prescriptions, submissions to PPA, negotiating manufacturing discounts, ensuring all processes are compliant with the Department of Health, business management of the dispensary and managing staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good standard of education including a qualification in English and Maths
- A dispensary qualification
- Experience of managing a dispensary team
- Experience of dealing with the public/patients
- Experience of maintaining profitability and business sustainability
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office software
- Accurate attention to detail.
- Experience of working to policies, guidelines and operating procedures
